Disneyland, October 1970 Pt. 5

Just like at home, Sunday is leftover day, so today dear readers, that’s exactly what you get. First up is shot of the Haunted Mansion, which had been open about a year by the time this view was taken. Over at Nature’s Wonderland in Frontierland, we have a two-fer!

Bouncing back to Main Street, it appears that a Keystone Kop is giving a ticket to a guest who might have been recklessly driving the Carnation Wagon.

Well, it’s not Chicken Pot Pie, but hopefully you still enjoyed this medley of leftovers! See more vintage & current Disneyland photos at my regular website. “Nightmare Before Christmas” fans—this Tim Burton classic is now available on Blu-ray, and also features a way cool tour of the Haunted Mansion (NBC version).

Leftovers at my place are seldom as good as those here.

Somebody peeling out in the Carnation Wagon again eh?

Spray painting the desert: wouldn't you like that job? Someone might've had that job, 'cause it looks like the surface around the pots are loose gravel, so I assume they'd need periodic raking and repainting. Scenic pic: what's that laying near the middle? Antlers?

It might be 2 pairs of antlers intertwined...not sure, but it does look goofy! (pun intended)
