Adventure Thru Innerspace

This picture from July 1968 shows a fountain outside the Adventure Thru Innerspace building. The first time I received a slide of this, it was a nighttime shot and I had no idea what it was. I have also included the first slide for comparison. I believe it was Tangaroa who identified it for me originally.

While we’re in Tomorrowland, I'll throw in this one of the Moonliner/Rocket to the Moon area from 1957/58 when it was still sponsored by TWA.

This 2nd shot shows the Douglas emblem that was put on the Moonliner when sponsorship changed in 1960.

Although this isn't necessarily the reason, the timing coincided with when Howard Hughes left TWA, according to what I read.
